7. Minnesota Vikings: Adrian Peterson RB Oklahoma: Minnesota would be thrilled if one of the draft's three best players fell to them at #7. If Peterson is not here, the Vikings could opt for some help in their secondary with Laron Landry or Leon Hall, but if Peterson falls, look for Minnesota to scoop him up. Peterson is an explosive back with power and sub 4.4 speed, but injury concerns have plagued him leading up to the draft. He appears healthy, and he should have an immediate impact in his rookie season.

8. Atlanta Falcons: Laron Landry S LSU: There are rumors swirling that the Falcons may try and move up in order to get Calvin Johnson. This would give Michael Vick his best target since he has been Atlanta's QB. This would be unlikely, however, and Landry is an impact safety who can cover and hit. Landry would team with CB D'Angelo Hall who has become one of the league's top corners. With Landry, the Falcons would have one of the best young secondaries in the NFL.
9. Miami Dolphins: Levi Brown OT Penn State: Miami would love to see Brady Quinn drop on Saturday because they are in need of a young QB who they can develop under new coach Cam Cameron. Cameron has had great success in developing Drew Brees and Philip Rivers, and the Phins want nothing more than to give him a young arm to groom. Since Quinn will likely be gone, Brown makes a lot of sense because he has great athletic ability for an offensive lineman, and some teams have him rated just as high as Joe Thomas. If Miami is able to acquire Trent Green from Kansas City, Brown would give them some much needed protection in the passing game.
10. Houston Texans: Leon Hall CB Michigan: Houston needs to surround new QB Matt Schaub with some help, but unless they trade down, do not look for them to go with an offensive player here. The next best offensive lineman or WR will not go until 9-10 picks later, and Houston also needs help in its secondary. Hall is the best CB in this year's draft, and he could team with Dunta Robinson to form a potent CB tandem. Hall has good speed as evidenced by his 4.39 40 time, but scouts have knocked him some because he doesn't always seem to play at that level. Still, Houston could land a CB who has been compared to former Michigan standout Ty Law, at least if you listen to poofy-haired Mel Kiper.
11. San Francisco 49ers: Jamaal Anderson DE Arkansas: The Niners could go in many directions with this pick, but Anderson would give them a versatile DE who some claim is a more complete player than Gaines Adams. Patrick Willis and Alan Branch are other possibilities here, but Anderson might just be the best value pick for SF, and he would fill a need in the process. The Niners could possibly trade down a spot if they can convince Buffalo that they want Willis because the Bills are rumored to be in love with the Ole Miss LB, and they see him stepping in for the departed London Fletcher right away.

12. Buffalo Bills: Patrick Willis LB Ole Miss: The Bills are enamored with Willis, and there is a possibility they might move up to ensure their selection of him. Willis would fill the void left by London Feltcher's departure, and he is head and shoulders better than the other linebackers in this year's draft. Willis is terrific in run support, but he also possesses the speed necessary to cover the edges and help out in the passing game. There is certainly a chance Willis goes earlier, but if not, look for him to end up in Buffalo no later than pick #12.
