I have no idea where anyone is going to get selected in this season's NFL Draft, but I bet I have as good an idea as any of the so called experts on the draft. So, here goes:
1. Oakland Raiders: Jamarcus Russell QB LSU: Yes, pretty much everyone has the Raiders picking Russell, but things could get a little interesting if the Raiders decide to move Randy Moss between now and Saturday. This would open up the possibility of them selecting the Draft's safest pick, Calvin Johnson. But Russell is the Draft's premier QB, and the Raiders cannot continue to ignore their glaring need at the position.

2. Detroit Lions: Calvin Johnson WR Georgia Tech: Ok, no one thinks that Matt Millen will use another first-round pick on a wide receiver after doing so three times in the course of four years, but Johnson is head and shoulders the best player in this year's draft, and it would be foolish of Millen to pass on him. Johnson is 6'5 239 lbs and runs the 40 in 4.39. Players like him do not come along very often, and this could be an opportunity for Millen to draft a WR without taking too much criticism.
3. Cleveland Browns: Brady Quinn QB Notre Dame: The Browns could go in multiple directions with this pick, but Quinn could help them fill a need that might help this team turn things around. Quinn will be most valuable in the NFL when he has talented players to distribute the football, and Cleveland has a pair of young playmakers in Braylon Edwards and Kellen Winslow. Adrian Peterson and Joe Thomas could also be possibilities here, but Cleveland has seen enough of the Charlie Frye Era.
4. Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Gaines Adams DE Clemson: Tampa would absolutely love to get their hands on Johnson, but with him gone, the Bucs' would be wise to select the best defensive player in this draft, Gaines Adams. Adams is described to be an end in the mold of current Bucs' DE Simeon Rice. Adams has speed and agility, and the ability to play a significant number of snaps in the NFL. He could become a young staple on an otherwise aging defense.
5. Arizona Cardinals: Joe Thomas OT Wisconsin: Arizona's rushing offense was terrible last season, and in Thomas, they would be getting the best left tackle in the draft. Thomas is athletic and agile for an offensive lineman, and his strength is his ability to pass protect. This would be extremely useful in Arizona where the Cardinals would like to protect the young left arm of Matt Leinart.
6. Washington Redskins: Amobi Okoye DT Louisville: Washington needs some serious help on defense, and they would love to trade down from this spot because they do not have any more day one picks. That being said, Okoye is the best defensive tackle in this draft, and he has the ability to become a fixture on Washington's D-Line for many years to come. Okoye is only 19 years-old, but he has shown a maturity well beyond his years. Alan Branch's loss has been Okoye's gain as the two defensive tackles have flip-flopped in position just prior to the draft.
